Bina Puri Holdings Bhd is one of Malaysia's most inspiring success stories. Founded in June 1975 by Dr. Tony Tan Cheng Kiat and the late Tuan Syed Mansur Syed Salim, the company has grown from a humble civil repair firm into a billion-dollar public-listed conglomerate.

Listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, Bina Puri has weathered two financial crises with an impeccable reputation, a staff force of over 1,000, and a global presence across more than 10 countries.

1975
Establishment — 1st Generation
Founded by Dr. Tony Tan Cheng Kiat and Tuan Syed Mansur Syed Salim. Concentrated on civil repair and maintenance, building credibility from a small shop on Jalan Pahang Barat.
1983
Growth & Expansion — 2nd Generation
Merged with Pembinaan Tekun Jaya. Obtained Class 'A' PKK license in 1985. Bina Puri Holdings Bhd incorporated in 1990. Listed on Main Board of KLSE in 1995 and began overseas ventures.
1995
Global Debut
First overseas project: national road reconstruction in Cambodia. Wisma Bina Puri corporate headquarters opened at Bukit Idaman, Selayang in 1998.
2001
Moving Forward — 3rd Generation
Aggressive diversification into recurring income: property development, highway concession, and power supply. LATAR Expressway opened 2011. Main Place Mall completed 2014.
2019
Bina Puri Iraq
Awarded the Dual Lane Road project in Nasirya City, Thi Qar Province — valued at IQD 87 billion (≈ USD 71M), covering 74.5 km with 7 bridges.
